The data we collect
- Order data: name, delivery and billing address, phone number, email address, order contents.
- Payment data: payments are handled by our payment provider; your card number is not stored on our systems.
- Account data: if you create an account, your email address, a password hash and your order history.
- Usage data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited (collected through cookies — see our Cookie Policy).
- Correspondence: the information you give us when you email or message us.
Why we use it
- To prepare, dispatch and invoice your order.
- To handle returns, exchanges and customer support requests.
- To meet our legal record-keeping and tax obligations.
- With your consent, to send you news about offers and new products. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- To keep the shop secure and to fix errors.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only as far as the service requires, with: our e-commerce platform provider (Shopify), delivery companies, our payment provider, our accounting provider and public authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside the United Kingdom; where that happens, the transfer is made under the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for the period required by law. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them, and support correspondence for a reasonable period after your request has been closed.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted with SSL, and payment details are processed by a PCI DSS-compliant payment provider. Access to our admin systems is limited to authorised people.
