Size guide

Getting the size right is the most important step in making sure a garment is comfortable and stays in place. The two measurements below are enough for most dogs; if you're unsure, email us at info@manipets.com and we'll work it out together.

How to measure

  1. Chest: wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Leave enough room to slip two fingers underneath.
  2. Neck: measure where the collar sits.
  3. Back length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, with your dog standing.

If you're between two sizes

Choose the larger one. On fluffy breeds (such as the Pomeranian), take the measurement without pressing the coat down.

Broad-chested, short-backed breeds

For breeds such as the French Bulldog, Pug and Boston Terrier, the chest is wider and the back shorter than on most dogs of the same weight. Go by the chest measurement and check the back length against the size chart before you order.

Measure the chest just behind the front legs, at its widest point. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Measurements are your dog's body measurements. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one. As each suit is sewn by hand, measurements may vary by 1–2 cm.
