A featherlight rain cape cut for a sighthound's build. It covers the back, chest and haunches while the legs stay free, so the stride isn't shortened. The snood-style hood wraps the long neck and ears and tightens under the chin with a drawcord.

The fabric has a water-repellent finish (manufacturer's statement) and is designed for rainy walks. We don't yet have a measured hydrostatic head figure; we will share one here after sample testing. In prolonged heavy rain, some seepage may occur along the seams.
Damla is cut for deep-chested, narrow-waisted, long-necked breeds: Italian Greyhounds, Whippets and similar. Because the fabric has no stretch, the chest may be tight on broader breeds.

Loosen the drawcord and fold the hood down; it sits around the neck as a loose snood. Do the first tries at home, for short periods.
